After many promised release dates, ticket prices have finally been released by the ACO, and I am now in a position to make my recommendations. Firstly I was asked to see if I could organise some sort of BBQ or meal as a get together to meet and greet other GT40 enthusiasts. To this end, Grandstand Motor Sports has come up with a 3-course lunch with wine on Saturday, in the restaurant Le Balcon on the main pedestrian walkway in the Village. This is included in the price. Likewise, they have looked into various categories of accommodation and offer the following selection:

For details of the accommodation, go to the GMS website at www.grandstandmotorsports.co.uk When ordering, please specify which of these services you require; GMS are willing to adapt packages to suit different Channel crossings. The 3-course lunch mentioned above, and access to the Grandstand Motor Sports marquee on the Bugatti Circuit, where drinks and snacks are available all weekend, are all included. To top it all, GMS have agreed to offer a 5% discount to GT40 Enthusiast Club members who book through them. Each package will need to be booked directly with GMS and paid-for direct. Grandstand Motor Sports is offering a trip package for club members, contact Diane at www.grandstandmotorsports.co.uk. The price for the arrangements as described will be £159 per person and will include ~ your infield parking, weekend admission, grandstand seat and paddocks access Lunch at the track on Saturday. The price does include the 5% GT40 member discount and is based on 2 in 1 car. The grandstand tickets will be in Lagache and we have our allocation confirmed already. You may send the payment as soon as you wish to book and we will then forward a confirmation invoice to you. In order to confirm your reservation we do require a deposit of £150 per person - by cheque or credit/debit card as you wish. You can pay the balance due 8 weeks prior to travel. In this [specific] case you may prefer to settle in full as the difference is minimal. The actual tickets we will have 3 to 4 weeks prior and will mail them all out at that time.
