The AGM was duly held last Sunday and well attended as usual despite variable weather conditions.
The main change on the committee is Desmond Finnan stepping down as Chairman after several successful years at the helm. A vote of thanks was raised at the AGM for the way he steered the Club in a time when membership has increased by about 100%.
Our new Chairman is Andrew Komosa. We wish him well to cope with the opportunities and challenges ahead.
Lucy Robertson is stepping into the backroom of Fortyfication with Tony Hunt taking on the role as Editor. Tony also stays as Membership Secretary.
John Bransgrove is retiring as the manager of Classified Adverts, this role is largely covered now by the ability of members to post their adverts on the web. Members should now contact David Champ if they want to post images or have issues on this function.
