AK40 Rolling Chassis

Due to change of plans we have for sale a brand new AK40 rolling chassis, including:

Period style GT40 wheels with centre spinners and avon tyres.

AP brake calipers and brembo handbrake calipers.

Nitron adjustable coilovers, and front and rear anti-roll bars.

Steering rack, column and period leather steering wheel.

Pro-Alloy radiator.

Engine mounts ready for a Ford Windsor.

Floor lowering panels.

We are recognized by AK Sportscars as an approved builder and as such this chassis is built to factory standards. A lot of care has been taken with panel and suspension fitment. All panels have been fitted with the exception of the rear bulkhead to allow for easy engine fitment. Apart from additional floor strengthening plates the chassis is as per a factory built chassis.

Most of the components were purchased in 2023 (pre-price increases) and so we are able to offer this chassis at a significant saving versus current prices, at least £12k less than a factory assembled rolling chassis. Hence, this would make a quick and economical starting point for anyone wishing to build a high quality GT40 replica.
